Great Location: The hotel is perfectly situated near the main street, making it super convenient to explore the area and do some shopping. Plus, being close to the stream adds a sense of peace and tranquility.
Disappointing Onsen: The onsen at the hotel left much to be desired. The facilities seemed neglected, and both the indoor and outdoor tubs were not well-maintained.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful in assisting us when we got stranded due to heavy snowfall. They went above and beyond to help us get snow tire chains and even liaised with our car rental company to secure compensation. The hotel also had a great Izakaya restaurant attached, with delicious food. The location was lovely and quiet, situated near a small stream and surrounded by trees. Although it was a bit far from the train station to walk, it was easily accessible by taxi. The hotel's cleanliness and facilities were top-notch.
Nothing, all great.

We stayed at a traditional ryokan, by a small stream with trees, which offered a serene and peaceful atmosphere. It was conveniently located very near the shops and the main shopping street, making it perfect for exploring the area. the room was spacious and clean, with comfortable futons and pillows for a good night's sleep. the service was friendly and accommodating, and the Japanese-style breakfast was delicious. the hotel also had a private and public onsen, both offering a relaxing experience.
The sound insulation in the rooms was a little poor, which made any noise outside more noticeable.
